Mountains of Memories!

Missoula, Montana, United States

Located in Hellgate Canyon, this area makes anyone respect the strength of Mother Nature. With mountains rising up into the sky and a river roaring down the canyon just across the street, this house is perfectly located for a nice vacation in Montana. Using vacation rentals to travel ourselves, we are surprised at the large disparity of amenities. We have 2 Smart TVs with Netflix, Hulu, Prime. There is a Hot Tub, Horseshoes, Fire Pit and any little thing you need should be found onsite.

The space

Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this newly remodeled and fully furnished, 3 bedroom / 1 bath home.  The main/master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, while the two remaining bedrooms are also furnished with queen-sized beds, comfortable for sleeping 6 people.  We have a Pack and Play and high chair available. The living room is furnished with a Smart TV, and comfortable sofas.  The kitchen is perfect for dining as it is equipped with all the modern conveniences.  Situated near the river, guests can enjoy an afternoon of swimming and fishing and later watch the sunset from the patio off the living room.

Guest access

This vacation rental includes the entire house and yard. Typically we ask you to stay out of the garage as we keep maintenance equipment and lawn amendments in there. If you need the garage for any reason just call to discuss.

Other things to note

When a place is updated and completely remodeled it is hard for people to grasp just how much this can improve a property until they see it. That said, there are quirks to any home. This home is located up close to the train tracks and trainspotting is a fun extra while lounging by the hot tub. We wouldn't say the train sounds are quiet but they are short lived and most residents in the area say they are easy to get used to. We have provided ear plugs in case this is a concern of yours but to us it really adds another element to what life is really like in the West. We will do our best to address them for future guests. Thanks for staying on Easy Street. We hope you feel at home.

Luxurious & Environmentally Conscious Living

Here for a few days or a few months? We have you covered with supports and pricing for every need!

ATTRACTIONS

We can safely say that during your time with us, you’ll never be at a loss for something to do. If outdoor activities are what you live for, this is where you belong.

Explore the River's Edge Trail

The River's Edge Trail is the main pedestrian corridor of the city. It follows both banks of the Missouri River for 60 in-town miles and connects natural spaces, the historical downtown district, and several cultural attractions. Of the many city parks connected by the River's Edge Trail, Gibson Park is considered the crown jewel of the city park system. This public space is within walking distance of downtown and features bountiful gardens and reflective ponds. It's a popular place to start the day exploring the River's Edge Trail on a bicycle.

Step Back into the Old West at the C.M. Russell Museum

One of the most legendary Western painters, Charles M. Russell spent much of his adult life in Great Falls, alongside his business-savvy wife, Nancy Cooper Russell. His style quickly began to embody the American West in the late 1800s, which was changing at great speed as settlers pushed out native populations. Russell captured this spirit with a robust collection of paintings and bronze sculptures.

Soak in the Grandeur at Giant Springs State Park

Giant Springs State Park is on the Missouri River, along the River's Edge Trail, northeast of downtown. Alongside being one of Montana's best state parks, this sprawling public area also lives up to its name with one of the largest freshwater springs in the country.

Dive into History at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center

Lewis and Clark made their way along the Missouri River and through the modern-day city of Great Falls in 1805. And the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, located within Giant Spring State Park and operated by the United States Forest Service, provides deep historical insight into the path of these two famous explorers. The Interpretive Center encompasses over 25,000 square feet, including permanent galleries, an educational movie theater, and an interactive space for hands-on learning activities. Outside the interpretive center and connecting to the surrounding state park, interpretive trails literally let tourists follow in the path of Lewis and Clark.

Hike the Interpretive Loop at First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park

Fifteen minutes west of the city, First Peoples Buffalo Jump is an archaeological site believed to be one of the country's largest ancient buffalo jump sites. Over 1,000 years ago, the indigenous population used this mile-long sandstone cliff to stampede buffalo over the edge. And evidence of this ancient hunting tactic can still be found today.

View the Great Falls of the Missouri River

Within Giant Springs State Park on the Missouri River, this set of four waterfalls lends the city its name and provides a stunning place to visit. Lewis and Clark recorded their encounters with these massive waterfalls in 1805, and while the landscape has changed since with the implementation of dams, the area is still intriguing as ever.

Giant Springs State Park

The possibilities at Giant Springs State Park are limitless- there is so much to see & do with over 4600 acres of front & backcountry & 20 miles of trail. Most people come for the beautiful springs (first described by Lewis and Clark in 1805), BUT there is so much more to do! Giant Springs offers opportunities for Biking, Hiking, Picnicking, Fishing, Hunting, Boating, Bird/wildlife watching, Photography. There is also much to see: The Springs, River Overlooks, the Fish Hatchery, The Falls and More! Visit the ranger station for guided tours/walks, children's activities, summer programming or for questions.

Location is great, parking lot is right next to the building. Hallways were lit up nicely after dark. The apt was filled with everything we needed. A small dresser would have been nice, but we made it work!
